My story is about my "man," my "Marlboro Man." That was his handle. He was a log truck driver who gave me my handle, "Rebel Devil," and taught me to love the smell of pine and diesel fuel. He loved the road and his big truck. He even had a old truck seat in our living room that was his favorite chair. He did love driving that big rig, with an oftentimes overweight load of pine logs, but somehow couldn't handle the rest of life. He took himself out of this world July 5, 2004. I miss him more than words can ever say and think of him every time I see a fellow trucker.
